Welcome back to the Wargame Trader blog! We’ve been busy adding updates to the site, improving the user experience, and making it easier than ever to buy and sell on Wargame Trader.
New Feature: Support for Partial Squads!
We’re also excited to announce that we now support partial miniature squads! If you happened to have a lot of units that you bought online that were missing a mini or two, or if you lost a member of a squad as a kid and just couldn’t find it, we’ve got you covered.
As a Wargame Trader seller, you’ll now see two new options under Set Completeness when listing a product:
- Incomplete (Partial Squad)
- Incomplete (Other)
For both of these options, sellers must add a custom image and description to their listing. This helps buyers quickly see exactly what they’re getting—without needing to message the seller for details.
A Better, Safer Buying Experience
The custom images and descriptions will be mandatory for the following product variants moving forward:
- Damaged
- Incomplete (Partial Squad)
- Incomplete (Partial Set)
- Incomplete (Other)
In addition, the following product types will require the custom images and descriptions:
- All Assembled or New on Sprue Warhammer 40k products (Painted or Unpainted)
- All Custom Painted Products
For all other product types, adding a custom image and description remains optional—but recommended if you want to provide additional details. These options will be clearly marked when listing a product.
These changes help reduce confusion for both sellers and buyers, increase transparency, and reduce the likelihood of returns and disputes: a win for both parties in any transaction.
